MOSCOW, May 3 (PRIME) -- The Moscow city government has banned launches of unmanned aircraft vehicles from Wednesday with an exception made for drones used on decisions of state authorities, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in a Telegram post.
The move is aimed at preventing unsanctioned use of drones that can hinder work of the law enforcement entities.
“I reiterate that an unsanctioned launches of unmanned aircraft vehicles is a violation and results in an administrative and criminal responsibility,” the mayor said.
